Instruction for yourself
Individual lessons bring to mind... Scheduling a lesson, getting your trailer out, getting your horse, grooming him for the visit, packing his tack in the trailer, putting the horse on, driving to the training facility, unloading the horse, wrestling tack out the trailer to put it on him, hoping you're gonna make it on time, riding with the trainer for an hour, learning all the stuff you are doing wrong and not getting to work on the stuff you want to learn, cooling your horse out, untacking him and putting the tack back in the trailer, loading the horse again, driving home, unloading him, turning him back out, and putting the trailer away.
But if you don't have time for all of this, you might try getting an individual lesson from me.
They include
- explanations,
- drills for practice,
- pictures
- and videos.
I have several prepared already, such as "Teach your horse to neck rein", "The beginnings of collection (flexing at the poll)", and "Working cattle with your horse". They are in the style of my free training tips, but much, much more extensive.
If the one you want is not on the list, email me. My archives are vast. I can have one done for you in a couple of days.
