Teaching Correct Lead Departures  Tricking your horse into the correct lead.
I like to let my horse's natural body work for me as much as possible. And here I will use his natural inclination to want to get back to the
other horses. Only very well trained horses won't lean towards the gate (the exit point of the arena, or the point where the other horses are tied). And when my horse is on the farthest point away from it, his own body and mindset will make him pick up the correct lead. All I have to do is ask for the lope a few steps before that point, and get out of his way. More... |

 Send your horse to me for training
Your horse will be used in the feedyard for 30 days. The riding schedule is every other day.  Grab a friend and come to a Three Day Clinic at my place. Take a long weekend to study Natural Horsemanship, as it applies to the saddle. Your riding skills will drastically improve. You will also learn a better way of communicating with your horse. These clinics are primarily taught out on the trail, using the natural country as part of our learning experience. I only take two students at a time, ensuring that you will benefit from my intense teaching style.
Or get a group together and let me teach all of you at your place. You organize the clinic, and your whole group will benefit. And you will be able to ride your own horse, no matter how far away you live. |

Some are for sale, some are just the ponies on the place. This one is Dubby. He's been sold a few years ago. What a nice horse he was. He brings a smile to my face every time I run across one of his pictures. I love them all. To good homes only!!! |
